This year, the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation falls on a Saturday and due to different observance dates for the holiday, SureFund services will be impacted. Please consider the following with respect to your closings between Thursday, September 29th and Monday, October 2nd:
Special Note on Cheque payments and courier deliveries
- Thursday, September 28th -Any deals with cheque payments will not be delivered until Monday, October 2nd or Tuesday, October 3rd, since some locations may be closed on Monday for the holiday. Please ensure five (5) day’s per diem.
- Friday, September 29th –Any deals with cheque payments will not be delivered untilTuesday, October 3rd. Please be sure to add appropriate per diems for cheque payments submitted on the September 29th.
Special Note on Wire payments and Banks
- Friday, September 29th -Any payments that are normally paid by wire the next business day, will not be processed until Tuesday, October 3rd, since Monday, October 2nd is a bank holiday. Please be sure to add per diems appropriately.
